چکیده
The two most prevalent causes of end-stage renal disease nowadays are thought to be diabetic mellitus (DM) and hypertension (ESRD). In addition discussing the function DM in ESRD, this study reviews glucose metabolism treatment hyperglycemia these patients. Although strict glycemic control ESRD patient survival were not significantly correlated numerous big trials, it is advised that prioritised as primary therapeutic objective care patients minimise harm other organs. When fasting blood sugar less than 140 mg/dL, 1-hour postprandial 200 glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) 6-7 type 1 diabetes 7-8 2 patients, ideal. Given its potentially deadly side effect, lactic acidosis, metformin administration should avoided with chronic failure (CRF), while glipizide repaglinide seem preferable options.

Insulin effect on Leptin Concentration in Children with New Onset Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus
Objective: Serum Leptin concentration reflects the body fat mass. There is controversial reports about the insulin effect on serum Leptin concentration. We wanted to examine the effect of insulin therapy on serum Leptin in children with new onset type I diabetes. Materials and Methods: This was a Cross-Sectional study in Children's Medical Center on 34 children who had new onset type I diabe...
متن کاملDiabetes mellitus and renal failure: Prevention and management
Nowadays, diabetes mellitus (DM) and hypertension are considered as the most common causes of end-stage renal disease (ESRD). In this paper, other than presenting the role of DM in ESRD, glucose metabolism and the management of hyperglycemia in these patients are reviewed. Although in several large studies there was no significant relationship found between tight glycemic control and the surviv...
متن کاملEffect of Rhus Coriaria L on Glycemic Control and Insulin Resistance in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective: There are association between oxidative stress and incidence of some chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Food containing antioxidant compounds, such as some spices, are the natural ways to deal with oxidative stress. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sumac powder (Rhus coriaria L) on the glycemic profile in patients with T2DM. Materials ...

Objective: To study the pattern and outcome of acute renal failure (ARF) in diabetes mellitus. Methods: Outcome of variables like duration of renal failure, recovery of renal function and mortality were analyzed with parameters like age, sex, duration of diabetes mellitus, preexisting diabetic nephropathy, preexisting ischemic heart disease, cause of renal failure, dialysis requirement and numb...
متن کاملAcute renal failure in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
Acute renal failure (ARF) is a serious condition which still carries a mortality of around 50%. People with diabetes may be at increased risk of developing ARF, either as a complication of diabetic ketoacidosis or hyperosmolar coma, increased incidence of cardiovascular disease, or due to increased susceptibility of the kidney to adverse effects in the presence of underlying diabetic renal dise...
